Treble Cone....

So TC as it's more often called, easier to say, haha!! was somewhere I did not really ride, although I did get 2 awesomely epic days of riding there, one at the beginning of the season and one at the end annnnd both were bluebird pow days yussss :D

My house mate James is a snowmaker at TC and has been for 10 years so I would hear how amazing the mountain is on a daily basis, he really knows it all and he the man when it comes to snow making. My first venture up there was during the first week it was open, with lot's of fresh pow and a bluebird day it was not to be missed, it was also the first day the saddle would be opened for the season as it was now deemed safe to ride, stoked!! So I was lucky to get a ride up with James in his work car with the other snowmakers, thanks guys :) So while they headed off to work I went to shred, the saddle was not open yet so I just cruised around checking out what the mountain had to offer, finding fresh lines to ride, went down the gun barrel which is like one big natural half pipe but with lot's of side hits and just real fun to fly down. They scenery is stunning looking out onto the lake from the top of the mountain and further down does not get the snow really just so beautiful and amazing to ride surrounded by this landscape....

So the saddle opened and everyone headed there as everyone wanted first tracks down the untouched pow pow. Oh it was amazing, everyone super stoked hooting and a hollering with joy smiles all round :D There is so much natural hits and natural half pipes here it's immense so much fun.

The second time I went was on a spring pow day and man it was epic, I headed up with James and his girlfriend Marie and we met up with Sarah too, sick crew over shredders, rode with Marie a lil then headed off with Sarah finding some more gnarly fun stuff to ride, hiking to the peak, so good we did it twice, oh boy I had a face shot of snow on riding down from the peak which reminded me of Japan, haha, we even swapped our boards and rode each others, fun fun times :D So stoked on what was my last pow day of the season, we met back up with James and Marie and had some last runs with them hitting every side hit in sight, loving it!! Tc is definitely the place to go on a pow day fo sho....

Sarah and I at the peak :)
