:D

So so super duper stoked to have this sick photo Frazer Rennie took of me framed and up at the slope, it really means a lot that they would hang of photo of me up there. The slope and I have been through a lot over the years, many good times and bad times but through it all I have still remained a loyal rider stoked on helping people especially the kids there. I may be away most of the time now riding snow but whenever I'm back I make the effort to go down there and ride every week. They also had some nice words to say when they posted it up which meant so much and brightened up my day for sure!! Thank you Aberdeen Snowsports Centre if it were not for you I would not be in love with this wonderful sport have met all the rad friends I have and have the opportunities that are allowing me to follow the snow now and above all I would not have learnt all the gnarly tricks I do!! So for that I will always be there to support the new up and coming riders and there to inspire them to show that anything is possible and you should never be scared of living your dreams :)

poor birdy....

We got some birds living in a nest just under our roof, must of found a nice wee spot up there but it is a gnarly place to bring up the wee ones and sadly one fell 3 storeys to it's death the other day the poor wee thing I've never seen a baby bird for real like that :(

AWSM :D

Finally got a frame for my signed Torstein poster, STOKED, just need to find a place to hang it now, haha!!

Also I've been waiting for ages now to be able to purchase some AWSM Brand stuff and finally about a month ago they went on sale, I got one of the Nicole web belts which is AWSM and so stretchy a new favourite for holding up my snowboard pants which is a must as my pants are so big and baggy they almost fall down even with a belt on, hahaha!!!! and got to try out my new AWSM sunglasses this weekend with the hot hot sunny sunny weather we've been getting and what can I say their AWSM :D

Scottish Indoor Freestyle Champs....

I decided to enter the Scottish Freestyle Champs on Saturday as like to enter comps as there fun seeing everyone who gathers for them and some gnarly shredding being thrown down and this one did not disappoint.

With a super sick park set up for it, mad props to the park crew an epic day was had by all. I got to head down on the Aberdeen Snowsports Club bus with all the kids who were entering which was cool, an early start leaving at 6am but the ride down passed quick everyone just a lil tired!! We hung around a bit then were allowed to collect our bibs and ride on the half of the slope that was open to public with a lil jump and box there as practice on the set up for the comp was not until 11:30!! I've only ever ridden indoors once years ago before I had ever ridden on snow and I remember hating it, but I loved it on Saturday oh how times change!!!!

I decided to play it fairly safe and picked out the run I would do as we had 2 judged runs. The reason being I leave for NZ a week on Monday and didn't want to do anything stupid which I am known for doing, haha!! So I 50/50 the side on gas pipe followed by a back 3 off the small jump followed by 50/50 to front 3 off the gas pipe cannon feature followed by a flat bar rail 50/50 back nose to switch out. Unfortunately I messed up on my landing off the gas pipe cannon going in with lots of speed to going big off, resulting in me over shooting the landing I tried to hold on to it as I land low in what feels like a massive tail press and from what I've been told looked like some mad break dancing ends up in a penguin slide but still manage to get up and hit the rail at the end, haha, well you gotta fall with style don't ya!! :)

I ended up coming 6th out of 10 female riders which I'm pretty stoked on and this has only made me even more excited than I already was for heading to NZ and all the tricks I want to learn, so many and so little time, haha!!!!

I also ended up taking care of poor wee Andy Budge as he was pretty ill but with some fresh air good chat and pizza he was feeling and looking a lot better, he really is one of the funniest dudes ever, I haven't laughed so much in a while!! All the kids killed it with it being a gnarlier set up than what they are used to riding they stepped up to it and did themselves proud. High 5's to them all :) Congrats to Grant Donald who came 3rd in mens ski and congrats to all the girls was a good turn out, the most I've seen at a Scottish comp so real good to see!!

A couple of photo's Taken by David Allen, please excuse my puffiness, I look like a fat ball with all my many layers, hahahaha!!

Rainboooowwww....

Some more shots from last Wednesdays freestyle night where Frazer Rennie was down taking some sick sick shots again and a dude Ronan Patrick Flanagan was down too and got a sick silhouette shot of me on the Rainbow rail, I love that rail it's not shown enough love at the slope very few of us hit it, maybe because it's in a weird position and you got the eeeevil moguls on the right but it's a sick feature :) Thank you Fraz and Ronan for the photo's :D

Zee Plasteek Quearteeeer Piieeppee....

It's been fun riding with the kids while back at the dry slope  their fun and always asking how to do new tricks which is cool to help them out with, the trick of the moment is the McTwist, haha so ya know what your gonna see thrown down at the Carpet Burn Cup Quarter Pipe Round next week!!

Frazer Rennie was down taking some sick photo's and posted up a couple of shot's of me doing a method in the quarter pipe love the angles there taken at, thank you Fraz :D

I've also entered the Scottish Indoor Freestyle Champs which should be interesting, pretty nervous about it cause I haven't done a comp for a while now and only ridden indoors once, haha, but should be fun riding with everyone!!!!
