Lynn Connor....

I had the pleasure of riding with this rad snowboarder chick the last month of the season, friends with one of my fellow lifties we were introduced on a trip to go night riding at snow park. He thought we were similar riders and right he was, both used to riding with guys all the time we had the same mentality when riding and would inspire each other to try different tricks, hit new features, etc, just fun shreddage!! Hopefully we will shred again one day, Lynn is currently traveling around NZ taking photo's as she is an awesome photographer.

On the last day of the season I broke my collar bone and it was the day before I flew back home, that night she came round and gave me this note....

This made my day.... I don't think or not for a long time have I heard/ read such nice words written about me, for a long time I have had this internal battle wondering what people actually think of me as I have people I thought were friends turn on me in the past, but I've learnt not to care and there's a lot more to me than meets the eye so hearing someone say they enjoyed riding with me and think you are a good rider on your way to doing great things is a real awesome thing to hear and gives you that added boost of confidence, especially at a time when your injured as it just wants to make you fight and come back stronger, better and even more stoked, thank you Lynn :D I had a blast getting to know you too and the awesome days of shred that we had, keep confusing people by shredding as hard switch as you do goofy and I'll hit up more park features switch too!! :)
