So today I ventured to the beach to check out a surf comp being held there. The sun was out making it nice day for such an event. Waves there were but a tad bit gnarly, especially for some of the more novice surfers but a good turn out of surfers which was good to see.
I just got a new lens for my camera the other day as my other one the Automatic focus stopped working on it so thought I'd go for something better, wondered along the beach taking photo's and stoked with how they turned out!! After hanging around for a couple hours watching all I wanted to do was surf, grr so went home, haha. But soon soooon I will be back on my boards, oh how I cannot wait :)
Tonight there was also a lil exhibition of artwork all produced from a skate deck being shown at Boarderline's store at Transition extreme the local indoor skate park. Kaplank Kapow a rad online skate blog ran this last year for the first time and some unusual/ cool things people come up with, they call it shape. I went to check it out, a decent amount of people had got involved and produced some awesome designs, my favourite being Pinnochio.
